The most popular DGS unit layout drawing for steam turbines is single seal including special design solutions which provide working ability withing the vast temperature range. The seal works using either own turbine steam or cleaned one (if there are many admixtures in the own steam).
Specifications:
- sealing pressure – up to 85 kg/cm2;
- sealing temperature – up to 480 ºС;
- peripheral speed of rotating seat – up to 130 m/sec;
- shaft diameter under the seat – up to 300 mm.
